Gamelan-iLands : Saron barung is a musical instrument application on iPhone / iPod touch which is able to make you being fond of the unique tuning and sound Javanese gamelan. It is easy and fun. Have fun and enjoy "the relaxation of fluctuation" through mature ancient oriental music.

Gamelan iLands is able to be played in two ways. The one way is as a virtual instrument (Saron barung). Just tap on the screen with your fingers. You can use it to compose and practice. The other way to play is by gently shaking your iPhone / iPod touch. And also like other Instruments, "Saron" have the two types of different tunes set which are "Pelog" and "Slendro", and they are choose and used depend on songs scales.

In addition, you can choose "Pelog-A/B/C" option scales. These three option scales have slightly different moods and support easy playing environment for beginners. "Pelog-A/B/C" option scales can disable any gongs that you dont wanna use. That could make it easier to play especially with shake play mode very much.

You can record your play. The recording function is supported the both of the tap play and the shake play. And you can also record your new play over your previous recorded songs. You can share your recorded song with your friends on facebook and email. In addition, you can also play your recorded song on the other GamelaniLands apps.

Gamelan music has a unique scale and pitch, it is incompatible with the common Western music. "GamelaniLands" supports the original BGM libraries. You can get them in the app and on the web as well.
